Trying to balance posting regularly while creating high quality art meanwhile major historical events continue to happen. All my love and support to the people of Ukraine, trans kids in Texas, immunocompromised people throughout the US and everyone else stuck in crisis mode.

I've been working on a series of various pride flag themed lolita coords after a friend brought up the subject on twitter. I'm a bit of a closet gothic lolita myself so first up I just had to draw an EGL coord in the nonbinary pride colors. I just think the purple and gold look so elegant together. Here's a slightly belated and very much truncated year in review thing. I've been doing more crocheting than drawing and have also stepped up my baking game (even if the croquembouche has to wait a little longer). I made a shawl and matching socks (not pictured) along with a bunch of gifts and bits and bobs. I also sculpted my birthday cake and it was delicious. I mean when else can you eat a marzipan salamander?

It doesn't feel entirely honest to list my accomplishments in terms of what I've produced but "I survived 2021" doesn't photograph as nicely. I'm still damn proud of that as well. Maybe I should put that on a sticker but I still don't want to jinx anything.
